Two Fredericton Police Force will attend to speak about the vulnerable persons registry and tips on how to keep vulnerable persons safe.

This Friday, we will not only have a car wash at ACF, we will also be hosting a BAKE SALE!!! If you already have a squeaky clean car, still stop by for some tasty treats! Come make a cash or e-transfer donation to support ACF and help us continue our community programs.

Our staff at Autism Connections Fredericton are hosting another great fundraiser before Summer ends! Stop by next Friday, August 20th for the car wash! We will be operating during our regular business hours, 8:30am-4:30pm. There is no specific price for the car wash, just by donation.

IF THE WEATHER DOES NOT PERMIT, we will postpone the car wash until Monday, August 23rd.

INTERVIEWS to be scheduled in July! Apply immediately!&nbsp;Anticipated start: Sept ~ Oct 2021.Salary &amp; Hours: $28.00 hr / 40 hrs a week – with flexibility.Benefits Package: NegotiableDesired Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor/Masters’ Degree in Education, Psychology or equivalent.</li><li>Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder is required.</li><li>Support knowledge of pedagogy- focusing on evidenced-based, ethical practices related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).</li><li>Administrative and supervisory skill sets with strong organizational skills .</li><li>Grant writing is an essential skill as well as preparing government reports.</li><li>Promote awareness &amp; understanding of ASD community – serve as resource to agencies and professionals.</li><li>Familiarity with agile development processes and workflow flexibility</li><li>Attend Board of Director meetings – sustaining regular reporting/understanding of financial literacy.</li><li>Upkeep of on-going Strategic Planning (2 year forecasting).&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to plan, implement, organize, direct and manage workshops/family events.</li><li>Assist families in understanding &amp; accessing ASD support services within the community.</li><li>Recruit &amp; train ACF volunteers surrounding local initiatives &amp; functions.</li><li>Ability to work in a deadline-driven team atmosphere</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with attention to detail</li><li>Manage fundraising activities, tenant agreements and ability to negotiate sub-contracts.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with digital communications, management of web development and social media outlets.</li><li>Effectively communicate in both official languages.</li><li>Valid First Aid training or willingness to complete.</li></ul>ACF cultivates a fun, collaborative and innovative work environment.
